Barry P.A. Carroll, BA (Hons) ACA CIM Dip.
President & CEO
Barry became Senior Partner of Augentius Fund Administration on completion of the MBO in August 2006, having joined Ansbacher Fund Services in April 2002 as Global Head of the business. Prior to that he worked with Bank of Bermuda, initially as Managing Director of Management International (Guernsey) Limited ("MIGL") Bank of Bermuda's Guernsey-based fund administration company, and latterly as Vice President and Group Private Equity Product Manager based in London.
His previous roles included Chief Executive of Butterfield Fund Managers (Guernsey) Limited where he was responsible for developing Bank of Butterfield's corporate trust and fund administration business globally and at KPMG where he specialised in providing professional services to offshore fund management groups, trustees, custodians, banks, trust companies and offshore insurance companies. Barry is a director of a number of offshore fund management companies and investment funds.

David R.D. Bailey, CMSI MBA
Managing Partner
David became a Managing Partner of Augentius Fund Administration on completion of the MBO in August 2006, having joined Ansbacher Fund Services in October 2002. Prior to joining Augentius he was Funds Product Manager at Gulf International Bank (UK) Limited responsible for the management and structuring of all fund products at the bank, developing the fund product range and converting the proprietary trading business units into a Hedge Fund business.
Prior to that he spent five and a half years with Bank of Bermuda in their fund administration and custody business, in both their Luxembourg and London offices, joining the Luxembourg office in 1995. Through his role as a Senior Relationship Manager he worked with a range of fund groups and was a director of a number of offshore funds. Previous to that, David worked for National Westminster Bank plc, initially in Private Client, Trust and Corporate Trust functions and latterly with the bank's Global Custody business.

J.P. Harrop, BBA CA
Managing Partner
J.P. became a Managing Partner of Augentius Fund Administration on completion of the MBO in August 2006, having joined Ansbacher Fund Services in 2002. Prior to this he worked with The Bank of Bermuda Limited based in Bermuda, where he was a Vice President responsible for a team of 27 fund accountants and investor relations staff servicing a Private Equity, Fund of Funds and Traditional Funds client base, providing accounting, administration, share registration, custody and related services.
J.P. is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, having qualified in 1993 after articling with Coopers & Lybrand. He was educated at Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario where he received an Honours Degree in Business, majoring in Accounting.

Gavin A. Davies, BA (Hons)
Managing Partner
Gavin became Managing Partner of Augentius Fund Administration on completion of the MBO in August 2006, having joined Ansbacher Fund Services in February 2001. He is responsible for ongoing development and maintenance of the global business support systems. Prior to this he worked with Man-Vector Limited as a UK based Investment Manager, where he was responsible for setting up their in-house administration function as well as being their Compliance Officer.
Prior to this he worked for Surrey Medical Imaging Systems as a junior Management Accountant. Gavin was educated at East London University where he received an Honours Degree in Applied Economics.

Ian Kelly, BA (Hons)
Partner
In 2009 Ian was appointed a Partner of Augentius Fund Administration. He continues as Chief Operating Officer (Europe) having previously been in the role of Client Services Director. He has operational responsibility for all activities including onshore and offshore client servicing within Europe. Prior to that he was the Client Services Supervisor for Ansbacher Fund Services Limited. Throughout his career in the fund administration industry, Ian has been actively involved with numerous fund types, structures and jurisdictions.
Ian graduated from Huddersfield University (BA (Hons)) with a degree in Accountancy and Finance and subsequently qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Certified Accountants and a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
