Ben Lim, FCA TEP
Director

Ben Lim is the CEO of Intercontinental Trust Ltd and has been actively involved in the Mauritius offshore sector since its inception. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and has substantial experience in international tax planning. Until April 2000, he was an international tax and offshore services Partner in the Mauritian representative firm of Andersen Worldwide, s.c. (De Chazal Du Mée) and a Director of a leading trust company in Mauritius.

Ben is a past President of the Association of Offshore Management Companies in Mauritius and is currently a member of the following bodies:
Asia Offshore Association (Founder Member and Executive Committee Member);
Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners; and
International Fiscal Association.

He has been actively involved in the legal and regulatory reform process in Mauritius as a member of the Mauritius Offshore Business Activities Authority ("MOBAA") Task Force and a member of the Company Law Advisory Committee ("CLAC").

Ben also participated as a Sub-Committee Member of the Policy Unit (Prime Minister’s Office) in the reform of the Financial Services Sector and the Pension Reform Committee. He currently sits on a number of advisory panels at the Board of Investment and the Financial Services Commission in Mauritius.

Yan Ng, BSc (Hons) MSc ACA TEP
Director

Yan Ng is an Executive Director of Intercontinental Trust Ltd. He is in charge of the Fund Administration operations and advises clients on all Fund related aspects including tax and regulatory matters and the structuring and the establishment of funds in Mauritius. Yan is board member of a number of Mauritian funds. Yan has previously acted as an audit manager with Baker Tilly Mauritius and as a senior auditor of Deloitte in Luxembourg. He trained as a chartered accountant in London.

Yan graduated from the University of Mauritius (BSc (Hons)) with a degree in Management and achieved a Masters in Finance (MSc) from Lancaster University. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. He is also member on The Global Business Competitiveness Task Force of the Mauritius Financial Services Commission and an executive committee member of the International Fiscal Association in Mauritius.

J.P. Harrop, BBA CA
Director

J.P. became a Managing Partner of Augentius Fund Administration on completion of the MBO in August 2006, having joined Ansbacher Fund Services in 2002. Prior to this he worked with The Bank of Bermuda Limited based in Bermuda, where he was a Vice President responsible for a team of 27 fund accountants and investor relations staff servicing a Private Equity, Fund of Funds and Traditional Funds client base, providing accounting, administration, share registration, custody and related services.

J.P. is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, having qualified in 1993 after articling with Coopers & Lybrand. He was educated at Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario where he received an Honours Degree in Business, majoring in Accounting.

Ian Kelly, BA (Hons)

Director

In 2009 Ian was appointed a Partner of Augentius Fund Administration. He continues as Chief Operating Officer (Europe) having previously been in the role of Client Services Director. He has operational responsibility for all activities including onshore and offshore client servicing within Europe. Prior to that he was the Client Services Supervisor for Ansbacher Fund Services Limited. Throughout his career in the fund administration industry, Ian has been actively involved with numerous fund types, structures and jurisdictions.

Ian graduated from Huddersfield University (BA (Hons)) with a degree in Accountancy and Finance and subsequently qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Certified Accountants and a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.

Gavin A. Davies, BA (Hons)
Director

Gavin became Managing Partner of Augentius Fund Administration on completion of the MBO in August 2006, having joined Ansbacher Fund Services in February 2001. He is responsible for ongoing development and maintenance of the global business support systems. Prior to this he worked with Man-Vector Limited as a UK based Investment Manager, where he was responsible for setting up their in-house administration function as well as being their Compliance Officer.

Prior to this he worked for Surrey Medical Imaging Systems as a junior Management Accountant. Gavin was educated at East London University where he received an Honours Degree in Applied Economics.
