Responsibilities

Accounts preparation to a standard acceptable for first review, adhering to agreed internal deadlines.

Develop knowledge of designated clients including understanding the key points of LPAs and Fee Agreements

Calculation and preparation of capital call and distribution notices in accordance with agreed internal deadlines for first review
-
Delivering all information accurately and to agreed timeframes

Initiate payments and amendments to standing data with the data processing team

Perform weekly bank reconciliations on all designated clients’ bank accounts
-
Prepare ad hoc analysis, as requested for review (all requests to be responded to within 24 hours)

Provide assistance with the annual audit process

Attend client meetings, where instructed, to build profile with client
Qualifications/Experience
The candidate for this position must have:
-
Bachelors degree in accounting
-
1+ years of experience
-
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel
-
Strong written and oral communication skills
-
Have commenced or is ready to commence CPA studies

Responsibilities:
- Providing a premier client service by building, developing and maintaining relationships with clients
- Detailed knowledge of designated clients including understanding the key points of the LPA and Fee Agreements
- Preparation and analysis of financial statements, various reports and financial records
- Prepare and monitor month end and year end closing, produce financials, reports and ensure all client balance sheet and income statements are accurate
- Responsible for accruing daily and monthly accruals, management fees and other recurring accruals
- Record all accounting transactions of the funds, including waterfall calculations
- Initiating capital calls and distributions and preparation of notices for dissemination to investors
- Identify adjustments, corrective action and preparing documentation in support of the reconciliation
- Prepare and review financial statements, footnotes and partner capital statements, limited partner and general partner allocations
- Review subscription documents and investor correspondence
- Distribution of information to investors, including capital calls, distribution notices, performance reports and K-1s using Investran
- Perform first review of all fees to ensure they are accurately raised to facilitate swift collection
- Assisting in audit preparation and working closely with external auditors
- Providing on the job coaching and training to junior staff
- Supervising work prepared by junior staff, ensuring deadlines and quality requirements are always met
Qualifications/Experience
The candidate for this position must have:
- CPA qualification
- Bachelors degree in accounting
- 2-3 years of prior Private Equity experience
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel including pivot tables
- Strong communication skills
